Pioneer Monument Dedication

A few weeks ago, we posted this picture from a newsprint.  Alice had this original photo in her collection.  This was held in 1909.   I love the way they are dressed, the fancy hats, dresses and umbrellas.  The float in the background is for the "Goddess of Liberty".  I believe it to be Hilda Madsen Longsdorf.

Memorabilia

Found amongst Alice's Memorabilia.  Weech Drug was located on the north side of Main Street in two locations at different times.  The red stamp is a 2 cent stamp, however no date on the cancellation.

Arthur W. Morrison

Arthur W. Morrison was born to William Morrison and Anna Marie Hansen Morrison March 21, 1881.

I am guessing that this picture was taken in Sweden while he served a mission there.

This photo was in Alice Hafen's memorabilia.  I went to Family Search to get the following information:

He was the son of Morgan Arthur Winters and Lydia Ellen Tebbs.  He was born 23 June 1892.  He married

Lucretia Vern Seely who is a distant cousin of Alice.  He died 30 December 1918.
